Featured placement terms

What you're buying

A featured placement is a sponsored slot on IslandSchools.ky for a school, preschool, college, tutor or business serving families in the Cayman Islands. Each package page describes where the slot appears.

Every paid slot is labelled as sponsored. Paying for a placement never changes an inspection rating, the order of rankings or any facts shown on a listing.

Term and going live

Placements run for 12 months from the day they go live. We aim to put them live within two working days of payment, after confirming that you represent the listing and reviewing your tagline.

Placements don't renew automatically. We'll contact you before the end of the term.

Content rules

Taglines must be accurate and suitable for a family audience. You can't describe yourself as a school's official supplier unless that school says so publicly, and you can't make claims about ratings or rankings.

We may edit a tagline to meet these rules, or decline a placement. We don't accept gambling, alcohol, tobacco or vaping, adult services, payday lending, political advertising or anything aimed at collecting children's data.

Payment and refunds

Payment is taken in US dollars through PayPal, because PayPal doesn't support Cayman dollars. Prices on the site are shown in both currencies at CI$1 = US$1.20.

If we decline a placement, can't confirm you represent the listing, or the slot is no longer available, we refund you in full. Once a placement is live it isn't refundable, except where we remove it for a reason that isn't your fault, when we refund the unused months.

Changes and contact

You can ask us to update your tagline or link during the term. For anything else, use the contact form.
